Anonymous asked: I have a problem with the way people think I'm much older than I actually am. I've heard a lot of reasons for the confusion, and one piece of advice that my siblings keep telling me is that I should 'dress my age'. But looking at what other people I know would not be mistaken for someone who's 20-something wear, I don't like it. I like the way I dress, and I like the way I look. Most of the time. I just hate it when people instantly confuse me with my siblings, who are at least 6 years older.
I am confused. You said people think you’re older than you are, but they confuse you with your younger siblings?
Eh, well, anyway, if you like the way you look, you shouldn’t change that, unless you think there’s a style that others your age wear that you would be equally as content with. But really, it’s all about what makes you happy. There are some people who are just constantly told that they look younger or older than they actually are because of their height, maturity, makeup, clothes, facial structure, etc. It can be annoying, but overall, it’s much better to like the way you look then to try to conform to something you don’t like just to get the desired reaction from other people, right? <3
